So here I start a series where every week #moreovercoffee will share a review of various cafés and the must-try coffee out there. Do share your experience with me would love to share it with everyone 🙂
Bombay Coffee House
As the name suggests, the ambiance of the café gives you the feeling of the old Bombay style cafe with the black and white photos hung up on the wall, it makes for a perfect place to ponder the days of what coffee house were meant for – engaging discussions and catching up with your mates.
You can’t really go wrong with a cappuccino, it was nice and frothy. They source their coffee beans from some of the popular coffee plantations in Karnataka. You can pair up your cappuccino with a butter croissant or a pastry
If you like your coffee sweet and bitter both, you should try out their popular Vietnamese Coffee (freshly brewed coffee with the sweetness of condensed milk). Also, try out their Iced Americano. They also have options like soy milk and lactose-free milk.
There were some unusual coffee drinks too like Mumbai Super Star Coffee, Teekha Coffee and Sinful Cappuccino. I didn’t quite like their Super Star Cappuccino but soon going to try out something called Teekha Coffee (it has the water in which chilies are soaked for the flavour)
They have recently opened up the café near Grand hotel (Ballard Estate) and the other one is at Waterfield Road, Bandra.
Moreovercoffee Recommends: Vietnamese Coffee, Iced Americano and Cappuccino at Bombay Coffee House.
